Digitalization has brought about an unheard speed of transformation, blurring boundaries and extensive global networks. Yet, instead of profiting from today´s innumerable choices and opportunities, product development is fenced in by numbers (timelines, prices, minimum quantities) like never before. No experiments, the tried and tested is preserved and endlessly replicated. Mediocrity is the look of today. High time to unleash creativity and innovative design thinking.
